Your gift may be a memorial or tribute to recognize someone who is important to you. We will notify the honoree or family member of the recognition. The gift amount is kept confidential; you will receive a confirmation and an acknowledgement that your gift has been received and a note has been sent to the honoree.
The Ames Public Library Friends Foundation (APLFF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, FEIN #42-1450291. APLFF helps to support Ames Public Library through fundraising, volunteering and advocacy.
Using your IRA is a great way to give to APLFF. You won’t be taxed on your gift - it will be tax-free and counts toward your annual required minimum distribution (RMD) and you can start making those gifts at 70 ½. Contact your IRA administrator or APLFF for more information.
